This is the Beaut Ukes.We are new to the ukulele and on the 14th of June we will have our first performance up on stage. I am used to this because I have done a lot of other shows for ballet. But I am still nervous. Our songs that we are playing are Do Your Ears Low, Singing In the rain, On My Ukulele and Michael Finergin. We have been practising for about six weeks.
Wow Isabel! I really enjoyed seeing the photo of you all smiling with your Ukes. Your songs on Friday night were so beautifully performed, you must be very pleased with how it went. I really enjoyed Michael Finnegan as we used to sing that when I taught at Matawai School too. It's one of the first songs I learned to play on the guitar! I hope the Beau Ukes will keep playing for many years as you were all so lovely to listen to!
