Hi Issy, my mouth is watering as I read your recipe. However- no blueberries, white chocolate, cream cheese, choc chips in our pantry:( I did see Jamie Oliver making a pizza with sausage, red onions, herbs which appealed. Thank you for the tip about not mixing your dough too roughly. I had not thought about that when I am making bread. What are you cooking today? Mrs Shaw
Good Morning Isabel I have always been intrigued by the sound of a desert pizza but I have never tried one. What a fantastic use of ingredients for your invention test! The thought of cream cheese and chocolate as the 'sauce' base sounds incredible! I love that you have included a tip and information around yeast. That is something we always learn within the Food Tech room so well done Issy! Did you eat this for desert last night? It almost sounds like a meal in itself! I love your fruit combination as I am the biggest feijoa fan; I imagine it would be delicious with fresh berries in the summer time too! Excellent work Mrs Bennett
Thanks Mrs Bennett, We didn't eat it for desert but we did eat it for lunch when it had just come out of the oven! I've added some photos of the main steps. From Issy
Kia ora Isabel, Thank you for sharing the recipe. I really liked the way you write the steps out clearly. I find it easy to follow. I also like the photo collage you created. How did you do this? Did you use Google Drawings? Mā te wā Mrs Torrie
Yum, gosh this looks so good! Did it taste as good as it sounds? How did your family like it? I'm going to have to put yeast on my shopping list for next week. Mine expired a year a go so will not work very well!
Hi Issy My mouth is watering too! I have never had a dessert pizza but after seeing your creation I think I am going to have to make one. I remember when the teachers all went to your grandparents once and your grandad cooked us pizza in the pizza oven he had made. I like how you have added photos. It looks like you really love to cook Issy. It is a good skill to have. Mrs Fisher
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something done well Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about

Hi Isabel
ReplyDeleteThe desert pizzas look really good.
Did you guys get to try them in the end?
And do you know if they took long to make?
