In My Street

Last week we read a poem called in my street. It talked about what different houses and buildings that are along the authors street and in the inviroment. This inspired us to make some artwork. Today I finished my art.
My houses are random. They are not the houses in the poem or my street.

Which is your favourite?

  1. Hi Isabel
You have added great details to your homes. I particularly like the contrasting sizes, shapes and colours. The weather vane on top of the roof adds effective detail as well as the stairway leading up the exterior of the red house. I would love to explore inside your quirky homes.
I wonder if a different colour on your street might be a better finish...what do you think?

  2. What a neat piece of art, I love the bright vibrant colour you have used. During my travels through Europe I saw many brightly coloured villages - Italy and Ireland spring to mind. Thank you for bringing back those memories!

Maybe you could add a road in front of the houses for more detail.

  5. I really like your art of your street and I think you could add some more detail, but I like the tall red house.
